When are birthday parties held at STEMquest?

Birthday Parties are held around the week. Check the booking calendar before checkout to look for available dates and times. Contact info@stemquest.ca if you need more information.
How long is a birthday party?

2 hours (75 minutes of STEM experiences + 45 minutes Party Room) STEMtastic is a free-play style party suggested for young children, 4 years to 6 years old. Robotic and Makers are workshop-style parties suggested for older children. Refer to Birthday Party details for more information.
How many children are included in a birthday party package?

Do you provide food and beverages?

No, we do not provide food and beverages. We partner with The Dough Bros Pizza to make food planning as easy as possible. Parents can choose from party packages directly at The Dough Bros, and they will deliver fresh, delicious pizza/nuggets/pogo/burgers/fries straight to STEMquest! This option takes the stress out of food prep and planning, allowing you to focus on having fun. Of course, you’re also welcome to bring your own food, as long as it is nut-free. This helps families choose what they want, how much they want, and where they want it from. It also helps us focus on our expertise and ensure that your children play and have fun.
Can we bring our own decorations?

At STEMquest we can accommodate a small bunch of balloons that you can bring along with you. We are unable to accommodate decorations beyond a bunch of balloons. No Decoration must be put on the walls or stuck to surfaces at STEMquest. No tape is to be used on walls or tables.
Can I add/ subtract children from my list after I book my party?

Yes, you can. When you book a birthday party, you pay a deposit towards the minimum number of children as part of that package. You can bring fewer than the minimum number if you wish to, the cost will NOT be reduced. Your final bill will account for all additional children that attended including siblings, beyond the minimum number of children as part of that package.
Do you offer a loot bag option for children attending my child’s party?

We do offer add-on options for personalized items for children attending the party. Please feel free to write to us for more details about the available options. Write to us at info@stemquest.ca
What are the Party Pre-requisites?

STEMquest waivers: All participants must have a valid, completed, and signed STEMquest waiver before attending STEMquest for any experience. Those under the age of 18 years old must have a valid, complete, and signed waiver from a parent or legal guardian before they attend STEMquest for any experience.
Do you have a cancellation policy?

Yes, we do have a cancellation policy. Please refer to the policy at www.stemquest.ca/cancellation-refund-policy
Do you provide a table and chair setup and decorate the party room?

The party room has a table and bench for children to enjoy their refreshments. You are welcome to bring your table covers, food, and any materials needed to serve it to the children attending the party. Additionally, you are welcome to bring a balloon bouquet to enhance the atmosphere if you would like some decoration. You can place these decorations either in the party room or right by the entrance. A garbage bin is made available in the party room for you to dispose of all your disposable material.
Do you charge parents to accompany their children to birthday parties?

Additional adults will be charged STEMtastic is a free play-style birthday party. It is recommended for the Kindergarten age group and parent entry is limited to one parent per child. An exception is made for the birthday child, who may have more family members accompany them. Additional adults will be charged. Robotic and Makers are workshop-style birthday parties. The birthday child’s parents may accompany the children into the workshop. Other adults will be asked to wait in the party room if they choose to stay back.
Are siblings charged at birthday parties?

Yes, all children are charged. The final bill will include every child and additional adults who attended the birthday party, even if they were not on your original guest list, but participated in the party (Children's siblings who join the party at drop off and/or pickups will also billed)
Will the birthday party host supervise the children at the party?

No, the birthday party host is not responsible for supervising the children's behavior. Adults attending the party are responsible for monitoring and managing the children's conduct. Children must be supervised by adults at all times. Any aggressive behavior or damage to STEMquest property will result in the child being asked to sit in the Party room to ensure the safety of others attending and of the property at STEMquest.
